As someone who has tried a variety of diets over the years, including Atkins, I
have been surprised to see an increasing number of “low-carb,” and “Atkins-friendly” mentions on many
mainstream food and drink items lately. If reputable companies like Subway and Coca-Cola are now in the game of promoting
a low-carb diet, after all of the controversy and negative press surrounding the safety and effectiveness of this kind of
approach, did someone finally prove that it works?
